About Us

Aloha Dream Ventures, LLC (ADV) is the brainchild of Leo D. Pagel. Leo started this little company with one simple vision, to share the beauty of Hawai’i with you. 

Leo is a local boy who grew up in Kailua on the island of O'ahu. Here he learned the culture and essence of the islands, where one is to be respectful of the land and the people.  And, to share the Aloha. A few years after graduating high school, Leo moved away to the mainland with his future wife to pursue an education and career. As Leo was always interested in technology and how best to improve one’s visual experience, his career led him to the exciting world of residential audio and video. Here, he helped bring the entertainment experience home to countless audiences, including industry leaders and celebrities alike.

Things changed for Leo and many others in 2020. As such, Leo and his family felt the calling of the islands and returned home to Hawai’i. After being away for 25 years with so many different experiences, Leo gained a much deeper gratitude for the beauty and mana (spirit) that surrounds us here. Once settled back in Hawai'i, Leo and his family purchased an electric boat to truly experience the peace offered from being on the water.  From this new found peace and appreciation, Leo took to his love of photography to capture images that he felt had to be shared. He is purely self-taught and knows there is always more to lean. However, he focuses with his heart and soul on what he calls “chance imagery,” images and moments in time that one may not see again. 

Along with chance imagery, he felt it was important to also offer captivating creations that are made in, and represented, the beauty of Hawai’i. From this goal, he sought out a partner who offered such creations. This endeavor brought about a partnership with Pono Woodworks. Pono is a gifted manufacturer of beautiful hand-made Koa and metal jewelry. Their magnificent offerings are truly the right contribution to our vision, and we are elated to be able to share them with you.
